Here are some signs that you might need a rewire (if not there are faults in your Electrical system)
- Fuses trip frequently
- You have an old fuse board instead of a modern consumer unit
- Sockets, light switches or appliances give you electric shocks
- Discoloured sockets, plugs and electrical cords
- Arcing (crackling sounding) plugs or sockets
- Wiring is red, black and green (or green/yellow)
