EICRs are suggested for all properties, including HMOs, every five years and at the start of each new tenancy.

Consumer Units
We fit new consumer units and replace old fuse boxes to meet BS EN 61439 standards, using the latest RCD fuses.
Many older homes around Maldon still have old fuse boxes. They’re not illegal but not as safe as new consumer units. These have Residual Current Devices (RCD fuses) and Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs).
